London to Cape Town 2010
 

Hello every body, this trip will start from London and end in Cape Town and yes it will be over land, this trip will be open to every and any body willing to come and enjoy the road, the bush, the 4X4 experience and the need to explore.

So far it will be me (Peter-James Lennox) my wife (Nicolette Lennox). We will be travelling in a Toyota Hilux HL3 3.0D Invincible Double Cab Pickup we have space for 0ne more at a cost of £1500 that will include food, ferryboat crossing and some other stuff, all local charges for visas and border crossings not included, the rest will have to bring your own vehicle at no charge. If you need help in finding a vehicle I can help.
We will only be staying in one or two maybe three hotels, the rest of the time we will be camping out side under the stars.

My sister and i are leaving for Cape Town around September 2010 in our HJ60 Land Cruiser (picked it up yesterday, much tinkering ahead!!). We're going to start in Nordkapp (top of Norway), aiming to hit Tunisia late October. Then head down the west side to Cape Town before turning round and coming back up the east coast.
When are you leaving? Do you have a route planned?
