Not planning on Camping coz im old (60) but havent completely ruled it out .. maybe as a back up !! im a seasoned traveller and been riding on two wheels since i was a kid.. might head via the Bike camp in Bulgaria but im flexible ... border crossings dependant .. wont be rushing anywhere but i like to strech my legs now and again.. might carry on into Finland but not certain .. rode the Nord cap circuit with a mate 25years ago when i was living in Denmark ... cracking roads and scenery.. i would reccomend it to anyone !! my time scale is a month or longer but might depend on when i can get back to the philippines where i am based .. if you fancy a ride or hitching along for part of the route then send me a message ..

Note that at this point, entering Europe from the UK will require a 14-day quarantine. Doesn't look likely that this will change by end of this month.

We (UK nationals) can now (or from July 15) travel through france and onwards into most European union countries without carrying out Quarantine unless showing signs of Covid 19 ..

With a month to do it, I would heartily recommend heading south first, if restrictions and funds allow.

You'll probably already know about the scenery and roads in France, Switzerland and Northern Italy. Likewise, Slovenia, Austria, and Czech are all noteworthy.

Speaking personally, I like many Polish towns for their old centres, but a lot of the countryside is a bit flat and uninspiring for my riding tastes, whilst the roads can be pretty heavily clogged with freight. Less so now that the motorway network has opened up.

That might seem a bit ironic given that I live in Estonia which, itself, is not exactly alpine but it is far less populated and the abundant wild forests, hidden lakes, plentiful camping spots and deserted beaches make up for it.

I, myself, will be doing a loop down through Poland to Prague, Vienna, the Tatras and Krakow before heading home again in early August.

Exact dates unclear at this point. Sort of depends on my girlfriend's work.

It'll be her first foray into bike travel and her first long stint as a pillion! Excited to introduce her to it all!

I think your destinations will have changed a great deal: like seeing them again for the first time.
