latin america - chile to mexico / california
 

hey there,

i'm leaving for santiago / valparaiso next sunday (11th of january) and will then head up to (hopefully) san francisco.

my bike will arrive earliest the 11th in valparaiso so i think i'll be hanging around there for a while (planning to stay at the villa kunterbunt).

let me know if you're around, i know about the great-amerikan-trek couple heading upwards as well as the two-wheeled-nomads but i'm not sure if i'm able / willing to catch up (i'm not in a hurry reserved one year for the journey, but if you're reading, i'll contact you ;) )

I'll be in Guatemala February-June, Honduras last 2 weeks in June, and then going back through Guatemala and Mexico in July. I lived in Honduras and know it well. When will you be in my area?

planned to take the stahlratte for the crossing of colombia to panama, looks like they're only leaving end of july. so maybe i'll be in honduras around october

I expect to be back in the USA by October. Will be leaving Honduras in early July, mid July through Mexico, and into the USA late July/August.

There's a slight chance I might continue south and look for another teaching job somewhere in Central or South America. Let me know if you want any tips on routes/roads/cities in Honduras. bier
