Iran - From Turkmenistan to Turkey Nov - Dec 2014
 

Hello All,

We are a couple riding back from Mongolia, currently in Almaty and looking at the ridiculous bureaucracy that is obtaining a Visa to Iran for UK Nationals.

We are hoping to enter Iran from Ashgabat, Turkmenistan around early December (basically as long as it takes to ride there from Almaty and securing the visas!)

As only one of us is British (and therefore require a 'guide'), it looks like we will be using a guide just for one person. As we dont have Carnet De Passage as Iran wasnt on our original route we have somebody in place to process the temporary import formalities.

SO, we are just throwing it out there if anybody would like to join us or is heading across the Kyrgyzstan, The Pamir Highway in Tajikistan or Uzbek/Turkmen or Iran, and even if you cant share a guide then good company is always welcome!
