Holland to Uzbekistan with Renault Kangoo!
 

Hi there,

off course it would be nicer to do this with a motorcycle, but after a stroke I'm not able to do that anymore, unfortunatelly. In 2010 I drove to Mongolia with a sidecar and two years later, Marocco, but that's over.

So I got a car driving license, bought a Renault Kangoo and changed that into a micro camper van; this year I will try things and see if everythings in the camper is working the way it should, and next year I want to drive to Uzbekistan to see the acient cities of the famous silk route.

My car is adjusted cause I have a leg prothese after a bike accident in 1977 and I cannot drive more then 200 km in a row, but 200 in the morning and 200 in the afternoon, that should be possible....

I'm wondering if there is somebody who is attracted to the idea to do this trip with me? I'm still young, only 63, stubborn, a wiseguy, music lover, like to laugh and so on, and so on.....

Not in the market to be your co-driver, but I admire your desire to keep on travelling despite your medical situation.
