I'm in western Kaz at the moment and heading to UB Mongolia, be nice to ride with someone for a while. I can speed up or slow down and in the case of getting out of Astrachan I seem to be quite good at going round it circles too. I'm flexible and independent as is my KLR 650 but we just dont have mush to say to each other any more.

Wise move! I was in Semypalitinsk 2 years back when I got a call from my business partner wanting me to fly down to Kuala Lumpur for a week to complete a proposal.

It took me some convincing to explain to him that I couldn't just leave the bike, fly out and then have to reapply for Kazakh and Russian visas.
