I intend to spend some time in Spain this year, in particular, the La Rioja region (north-east), but also want to see parts of south-west (Cordoba, Sevilla, Cadiz, Granada, Gibraltar) too. I'm still doing aa bit of reseach on the Portugal part but I expect to be in or around Bilbao june 9th.will haed along the coast to the Europa mountains and then cut south into Portugal. If anyone's passing through Portugal away from the touristy bits drop us a line, I'll be happy to show you some great roads maybe even give you a bed for the night. I live about half way down, east of Lisbon near the Spanish border.
