Germany-Cape Town (East-Route) Oct. 2016
 

The trip is in the early planing stage and will probably take about 6 month. Is anybody out there who wants to ride along? (BMW GS 800 Adventure).

It'll be hot down there in summer. Do you already know, how to go to Egypt? By ferry I suppose, but which and from where?

Europe to Cape Town
 

I will be interested if I make it to Europe in time. This Summer I shall be in the USA/Canada. Next Summer across Russia and into Europe. Thereafter the plan is to travel down to Cape Town then back to Johannesburg and possibly back to Europe via the Western route.
BTW I know Kenya/Zambia/Malawi/Mozambique/Botswana and S Africa/Namibia quite well.

I should know my start date within the next month or so.
