Favour in Darwin
 

Hi,

We are on route from UK to NZ, currently island hopping through Indonesia and will be shipping from Dili to Darwin. We were hoping that someone maybe able to help us in Darwin by allowing us to order a few parts and a new set of tyres to their address so we could collect on arrival in Darwin as we believe the bike has to have some equivalent to an MOT to be allowed onto the roads. Any help would be massively appreciated!

There are motorcycle dealers in Darwin, some of them have tyres... tyres usually too expensive to ship.

Be nice and warm up there now, rain .. probably each afternoon .. but you are traveling in it now so not too much of a change. Go south if you want colder and to get out of the rain.

Just as an aside, Ive had tyres shipped from the states and that still worked out cheaper than local.

Some of the more helpful darwin people go on holiday now to get out of that weather .. so they aren't there now. Sorry about that. Might get more out of the community?
