El Rosella Baja, La Paz,Tapachulla June 14

Hi all, Anyone interested in riding south with me? Im on Baja penisnsular right now. I should be in La Paz in a few days. Basically Id just love some company and if I had some Id be more inclinded to ride more gravel and tracks rather then highway. Being stuck under my bike for 1/2 hour in the cooking desert sun has made me revisit risk management and therefor limited what I do alone.
Love to hear from someone. I havent seen any overlanders in Mexico yet at all.
email me edsurman@gmail.com if it works for you.
cheers

Yea, it may be a bit Sparse this time of year. Probably see a few Canadians ... but in Winnebagos, not riding bikes. Bit TOO HOT at present to be exploring the Desert. If you just lite somewhere for a few days you may see guys come through. ???

Mulege' is good for this ... or Loreto. Lots or riders pass through. There are some easy dirt tracks out to Scorpion bay from Loreto ... with enough traffic so you wouldn't die out there if you fell. (hopefully). beer

Also, some nice tracks out of La Paz ... very nice ride from Las Barillas WEST along the coast to Cabo. Easy, fun ride, enough traffic to do solo, a few nice place to camp or Hostel along the way. Cabo is pricey, avoid.

are you in Santa Rosalia now? When you get to mainland, go UP HIGH. Get up into the Sierra and stay there as you work your way South. Much cooler.

Good luck, hope you run into some friendly company!

Hi Eddywoodgo If you happen to pass thru Guadalajara while traveling in Mexico, let me know, send me a P.M. a few days in advance, I live a hectic life but I'll be as helpful as I can, lunch or dinner will be on me and if you need local advice or help of any kind, nothing beats the input from a local. I've been a traveler myself (not on a motorbike…Not yet) and I'll be delighted to help. Ride safe :thumbup1:

Thanks mate. Ive turned around and headed back into the US for a bit. Going to try learn more Spanish. A bit freaky travelling solo with hardly any language.

Thanks for your kind offer
