East Coast USA down to Patagonia than up east coast Brazil sometime Jul/Aug 2013

I'm still planning the trip. I will be leaving from NYC to all the way down to Chilean and Argentinean Patagonia, work my way up to Iguaçu Falls where Argentina meets Brazil and Paraguay and make my way east till Rio de Janeiro and stay there a couple of weeks then head north up to the Amazon forrest.

If you planning on heading down south from the USA let me know.

Hi: am leaving from Nova Scotia, I tell everybody 1st Aug but if ready earlier will go then, your plans sounds a lot like what I am planning. Will probably stop in Guatemala for a week of spanish lessons on the way through. Want to head down the Pacific side to Ushuaia and back up the Atlantic side as well.

Keep in touch, there's a few people leaving on about the same schedule:scooter:

Cheers Philip

Hi Growler and Walace......I to will be headed in your direction....have already been in touch with Growler.....since have had a friend join my trip. We will be leaving Sept 1st from Ontario Canada and I expect crossing into Mexico within 5 days. As yet I do not know the easiest or safest crossing. Would like to avoid the Pan Am. Currently considering crossing At Nogales.
Hope to see you on the road.
