Driver required Simpson Desert Australia
 

Hey guys

Had a bit of a plan change and we are looking for a support driver to drive my Land Rover Defender 90 through the Hay River track in the Simpson Desert Australia leaving 15 th July for approximately 3 weeks

You will be in the presence of one other vehicle and will be supporting 4 motorcyclists carrying food fuel spares etc

The Defender is basically standard.

What do you need? Sand driving/four wheel driving experience preferred and mechanical sympathy. Break my Landy and I'll leave you in the desert ;-). Camping gear tent mat bag etc you will need to bring. meals we will cook aroung the fire at the end of the day.

We are all 40ish . Sense of humour a necessity.

I will be providing medical support and we will have a remote area communications specialist with us.

Route is Melbourne to Broken Hill. Onwards to Tibooburra Innaminka Birdsville Hay river Jervois Alice Springs(restock and repairs) then Colson Track back to Birdsville and back home.

If you are time short and can only make it as far as alice springs thats ok
