Where are you now? I am in Oaxaca. Looks like I will not make the Stahlraat last crossing on Dec 7. What is your plan as I don't have one?

You can go by ferry from Cartagena to Colon in Panama.

A lot of people sleep on the floors in this ferry and the roof is nice to enjoy a bier in the sun.

There is a smaller boat called the Wild Card that also does the gap. Try them but book early because they get full quickly being smaller and unable to carry many bikes.
