D-Day 75th Anniversary
 

Hi

Three of us are touring Spain and France on our motorcycles and intend to finish the trip visiting Normandy for D-Day 75.

We arrive in Santatander, Spain on 29th May and depart Caen, Normandy on the 7th June.

In Spain we are looking to do the Picos and Pyrenees mountains, riding up the Brittany coastline to Normandy.

So accommodation recommendations and meeting for a beer most welcome.

This has only just been decided so obviously accommodation in Normandy is completely booked up !

We will probably wild camp as we expect that lots of people will do the same and when I went to D-Day 70 there were camper vans overnighting everywhere you looked.

So I'm asking if there will be any other members making the pilgrimage for a potential meet, and if so what's your accommodation situation ?

Also if there are any members that live in Normandy that could recommend or even let us have a corner of their field to camp. That would be greatly appreciated.
