Currently in Chiapas, Mexico and heading South
 

Hi guys,

This is my first post here, seems like a good opportunity to meet some other riders.

Myself and a buddy (23 and 24) are currently in San Cristobal de las Casas and heading to Guatamala on Saturday. Already been on the road for 30 days from Victoria, Canada. No real plan from then on, but we're planning to continue as far south as we can before Xmas when we will hopefully sell our bikes and come home back to Canada.

Both of us are riding 2008 KLR650s.

If anyone is in the area and wants to meet up, that'd be awesome! Always looking to meet new people.

There are a bunch of us heading that way next month. My group plans to make the Stahlratte departure on Oct 23rd. There are a couple other guys ahead of us, now in Mexico working their way down too. Contact gnarlynathan@hotmail.com to find out where he is now.

I'm currently in Antigua in Guatemala awaiting some bits rather non urgently. Theres a couple of other guys around here. Might head to Lake atitlan this weekend then head to Honduras next week. Fancy a week of surfing maybe in Nicaragua. Watch out for protests on the roads. Its election weekend. If anyone tries to stop you on the roads just keep going. Reports of armed bandits about mainly around the lake.
