China To France - Silk Road Summer 2017 - Looking for travelers
 

Hi Bikers !

I'm a 21 years old French student currently in Nanjing, China for studies. At the end of my school year, I plan to come back in Europe by Motorbike though the mystic Silk Road. From China to Europe, itinerary to be defined. I'm looking for cobikers.

I'll be available from the middle of July till the beginning of September (so I can adapt my schedule to yours).

Despite my youth, I have a pretty good experience in biking travel. I ride since 6 years old and my father made lot of bike trips. I'm easy-going and flexible. I have a tight budget but enough to face this challenge.

I'm open to any motorbike trip proposition from Asia to Europe (Even with a start in another country).

Done the trip last year from Shandong province to the UK and back, but I took the more easy route through Russia.
Not sure about all borders leaving China but the route I took I needed an ATA Carnet to just get out of China.
I needed to leave a holding deposit of 33.000 RMB to which was fully repaid when I returned to China with the bike.
So my advice is to check with what border you are thinking about leaving china from and to find out if you do need an ATA for that border.
Start from China because without shipping your bike its the only country you can ride from without needing to book a tour and big cost?
