Chicago to San Francisco the long way
 

I'm driving from Chicago to San Francisco, taking a long route on back roads/secondary highways starting at the beginning at July. I would love to finish the trip at Laguna Seca for the Superbike races on July 13 but only if we're there in time. Anyone interested let me know. I don't have a specific route yet so I'm open to any suggestions.
