Mexico
Hi Franki,
I am in San Miguel de Allende near Leon Mexico.I am heading tp Ushuaia. I like it here so much and have met some awesome people that I will stay longer than planned. I may head to Mexico City then Puerto Escondido then to Tapachula and cross the border.I will cross from the west of Panama into Colombia. That is the plan but it is not carved in stone. I figure I will be in Tapuachula in 10 to 14 days. Clive |

Hi Clive, I have landed in SFO and shall be working on my bike this weekend. Then I shall be moving slowly down to LA & SD as there are a few groups of riders that I have to meet. I shall not be crossing in Baja till Nov. 6. Everyone who has frequent Mexico told me how great this country is and asked me to slow my pace through. Therefore, if you are slow enough, we shall meet in Mexico somewhere. Have fun, Franki jeiger |

Hi,
The sailboat referred to is actually THE STAHLRATTE and the Captains name is Ludwig......cost with bike and 1 traveller includes meals and paper work to enter Columbia is around $ 900.00 US....they make it a 4 day crossing stopping in the San Blas Isl for snorkelling, swimming etc........you are required to help out....... Before you take that bike anywhere, be sure that you replace the idle shaft lever. I had the same bike when I started my world travels, and the isl broke in Slovenia, destroying the crankshaft assembly and almost my entire trip.
