Hi Jens,

I'm German too and know Paul from Atenas as well (I was reading your previous posts). I live on the beach in Playa Tamarindo, I have a KTM 640SM.
Let me know when you are close, I might ride with you a while or stop by for a drink and a chad.

Gute Fahrt und vielleicht bis bald

Gruss Jogi

Costa Rica

I am currently in San Jose, Costa Rica and will remain for about 2 months studing Spanish, I will either continue south to Argentina or return north to the US. Please advise of your progress. Should I travel north I would be interested in hooking up with fellow travelers for the trip through Centro America.
My current abode is the Hotel Cacts in San Jose Costa Rica. Should you need a place here I can hook you up with my German friends who know the area very well and can help you find reasonable places to stay.

Pappy, are you also known as B.B.? Do you know Fletcher? I've ridden with Fletcher a few times in the past. I am planning on riding to Tierra del Fuego at the end of December. I'll leave Texas on the 26th going south, and be in Heredia, Costa Rica by New Years Day. I hope to see you along the way.

Ok, I'll try and look you up. I'm not sure how much time I will have, but I would definitely like to visit over a meal. I'm trying to get to the bottom of South America and back in six weeks. My time and money are very limited. I will be posting updates on my website on a very regular basis. There will be one other fellow with me. I'm looking forward to it.

B.B. we made it to Panama. We'll be getting on a plane of some sort in a short. Thanks for the info with Paul over at David. It worked out great. Paul gave us another recommendation for Panama. All is going well and wish you were along for the ride. We'll see you back in the states.

Hi Jens,

just came back from Arenal today with the bike, very nice and lots of curves. I hope you had a great time in Panama.
The paved roads in general are in pretty good shape right now (less of the big pot holes). You must be through Costa Rica already. Let me know.

Guanacaste Costa Rica

invite...

Thanks Jogi for doing the article on Guanacaste, now I don't have to. ;-) I'm south of Tamarindo, just north of Samara and living in a fishing village called Punta Guiones, which is not on the map. Anyone who wants a place to crash after visiting Jogi is welcome, though my abode is pretty 'rustico'. No hot water (though why you'd want it this time of year I don't know...), no aircon. You can check out where I live at: www.OnaMissionfromDog.com/arrival.htm and www.OnaMissionfromDog.com/may.htm. Get my email off my website, as I check HU erratically.
Drop me a line Jogi, next time you pass through. Sorry I missed you last time!

Dear Loraine,

con gusto. I know Nosara and Guiones a little as I ride through going from Tamarindo to our Samara office. I will try to visit you next time.

Saludos Jogi
