Bolivia: Lagunas Route in early July?
 

I'm currently in Peru and want to do the Lagunas Route between Uyuni and Atacama. But since it's 400km between gas stations with lots of open paths and much of it sand (I hate sand!), I'd prefer to have a partner. It's usually accomplished over two days, camping in the vast cool emptiness of the altiplano for one night.

If anyone is in the area then (current plan has me in Uyuni July 10-ish, but that may change) and wants to ride the Lagunas route with another rider, let me know. In case it matters: I'm a 39 yr old American male on a DR650.

it´s a few days to the beginning of july but check the conditions.

they had a lot of snow this year in the andes. the pass jamal was closed for a long time and who knows the condition on 5000m on the lagoon route.
