baja, copper canyon trip
 

i'm planning a trip from oakland ca to mexico in sept or oct. don't have a set in stone route but i'm thinking the length of baja, ferry to the mainland then to the copper canyon area. i have 3 weeks or so i can use for this trip. riding my klr through mexico will be new for me but i've driven to costa rica as a guide for non spanish speaking people. i've lived and worked in mexico which does not make me an expert but i am familiar with life there. the route and dates are flexible, but only in that it has to be after september.

You won't be pushed too hard having 3 weeks available.

It's a day's ride from La Paz back up to Santa Rosalia, and a faster ferry crossing, if you want to land at Los Mochis...which is also closer to CC.

I'm thinking/planning on much the same route and dates...leaving from the Phoenix area headin' to HU in Creel...possibly a few others from here as well.
