Argentina to California - Jan 2010
 

Hi All,
I am planning to ship my bike, via air freight, from Los Angeles, CA to Buenos Aries in January 2010. From there, my goal is to work north, back to California over four to six months.

Unfortunately, a friend who had hoped to join me is unable to make it. I'd love to find someone interested in joining me for the trip, or even a portion of the trip.

As for me, I'm 33, grew up in the midwest, work in the finance industry, have spent a lot of time rock climbing, skiing, mountaineering and racing mountain bikes. I also surf, kayak and scuba dive and hope do do as many of these activities along the way as I can.

Hey - I'm busy trying to sort out a TDF to USA trip for early 2010 too. Also solo at this point, and although Jan is a little early for me I'll drop you a message with my details.

I'll be in S-America in 2010. The idea is to have New Year's Eve in Ushuaia, then head up North. But I guess I'll be travelling a bit slower than you... don't know about timings yet.
Have a look at my blog/subscribe to the feed to stay up-to-date about where I am at what time. We might cross ways & travel together for a while, who knows.

(Generally, I'd like to enter the US around May/June. But I don't know yet whether this will be in 2010 or 2011. But I'm certainly around S-America as of November this year).
