Anyone traveling South America NOW? or up for TransAmazonica in Jun, July
 

Hi there,

Anyone travelling now north South America? I'm in San Pedro de Atacama, Chile and heading north to Bolivia up to Iquitos , Peru.

Im travelling alone, and my avrage speed is 80 -100 km/h , so can´t keep up with those fast on the roads- Also I'm after adventure places, unpaved roads but also I touch on my way the main interesting places .
Usualy I sleep in the tent, and travel on the budget.

Let me know if one of you are around and would like to travel for some time.

About me: Male , 32, romanian with latin spirit, that means I have no problem to get close to people!
I speak also french and spanish.

Hey Alex,

I'm in Bolivia now on a CGL125, heading for Peru. My man is accompanying me to Lima, Peru, and then a girl friend is joining me from Lima to Piura, and then another friend from Piura to Quito (one week each). I'm on my own after that, heading for Colombia and then up Central America. Would welcome a travel buddy.

Hi! I will be there in July, in basically I am heading from Canada to Argentina, but most of the time I will spend in South America arriving something like July 25. I am also born in east europe, but lived most of the time in latin america .I think it will be the trip of a lifetime!!! lets hang out somewere along the way!!!

I´ve just arrived in Bolivia in Uyuny heading Potosi and Sucre , and 2nd to 4th May would be in Macha, not far from Sucre to see an original bolivian festival its called Fiesta de la Cruz - Tinku. After that heading to Yungas Road and so on. Ill stop going north around North Peru or Ecuador because I will cross the Amazon in Brazil. Let me know if you guys are around and heading the same road, would be nice to meet.

In July I will probably crossing the Amazonas, are you riding that way to Brasil? I'll probably do a combination of boats and ride if I get in Iquitos, where I intend to stay around for a while. Still planning , not decided yet.

Sorry Alex, I didn't see your post until just now. I'm in Huaraz, Peru, heading north to Quito by May 25th. After that, Colombia. Looks like I'll miss you if you're heading into the Amazon! I would LOVE to join you for that, but I have to ride home to Seattle by early September.
