Anyone sharing container: Egypt-Europe??

Almost back from Capetown (now in Khartoum) and because of all the troubles in Libya, Syria, and Arabic Springs all over the place we plan to ship our car from Egypt to Rotterdam between the 1st of December and Christmas. It is Landrover and since there is space for two: anyone who wants to share space and costs??

Hi Jaco,

I've just finished clearing my Landy through customs in Alex as I didn't see that there is a RORO from Mersin in Turkey to Port Said which is something you might want to explore also the clearers I used in Alex (Egyptian Global Logistics) were very efficient and also inform me that they operate a RORO to Europe out of Alex.I will see if I can find their contact details but a web search should reveal something for you,

The shipping company I used was Tarros shipping a Mr Francesco Ornaghi in the Alexandria office is very helpful and speaks good English, he runs the show.

Hope this helps you with some of your shipping needs, hopefully to make life a little easier as there is alot of bureacracy in Egypt.
