Anyone in eastern Turkey at the moment?
 
Hi all,

I am currently in Van in eastern Turkey and will tomorrow head up to the Iranian border for a look see before going up to Kars, Rize, Trabzon and along the Black Sea coast.

Would be nice to meet some other travellers.

Hi Nordkapper,

I am going to be in Turkey in a few weeks. I figure you will be going on ahead but maybe I will catch up with you in Iran or Pakistan if you are heading that way? Are you travelling alone?

Hi Hornet600 and thanks for the reply. I am now in Ankara heading south west (towards the Marmaris and then EMOK rallies). Good luck with your trip - watch out for the cops (77kph tops on A-type roads, 88 on dual carridgeways). Take care on the sometimes scary road surfaces and enjoy the warm hospitality here.
