Anyone coming into Ecuador, heading south??
I`m planning on leaving Cayambe (20 km south of Otavalo) in the next few days, heading south towards Argentina (probably BA) through Peru and Bolivia. If anyone is around, we could do some miles along that way.

one among the many
hey marco
thought i'd let you know that there are a lot of bikers around the area. but you know how it is, we are an independant sort. i'm in banos, planning on being here for one more day, then to cuenca, where i hear there is some good climbing, so i may spend a few more days than originally planned. but i also know of several folks who are in equador on klrs, some moving fast some moving slow, several of the people i know are far ahead of me in peru or chile already, since they are moving as fast as they can to make ushuia before wintertime. anyhow, let me know how fast you are moving, and i'll let you know who i know in the area, or who i know you might be able to catch up with. st3ev3e |
Hi Steve. I might be leaving by this weekend coming, I`d like to get into Peru by Monday if everything goes according to planned. I think I won`t be staying too long in places because I want to come back to Ecuador in about one and a half months at most, after, if possible, getting through Peru, Bolivia, a bit of Argentina, same for Chile and head north again. Keep me posted about your progress or somebody else (as I will do) to see the chance of a drink on the way.

I'll be leaving Quito on Monday morning and I think I`ll be in Pasaje (45 min) from the Peruvian border in the evening. I`ll see if I can get into Peru on Tuesday morning, anyone doing the same that day??
