3 month+ European adventure (July 18)...
Hi All,
I am embarking on an open-ended European adventure in a month or so, leaving from the UK. No plans other than following the best mountain roads, biking roads, lakes, and of course beaches. Setting off solo and quite happy to complete the entire trip solo, as I am fantastically flexible with routes, timescales etc, having the enviable position of zero other commitments. Will predominantly be camping as it is much cheaper, more fun, and more flexible. Initial route will be Holland into Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Corsica. Will most likely detour into Eastern Europe, quite how far is anyone's guess. Is anyone contemplating a similar free-spirited adventure? Would be interested to hear. Happy riding.... LA. |

I'm going that way in August and Sept, planning to go down through Croatia, Albania, Greece and hopefully into Turkey as well. I'll be leaving around the first week in August. I'm doing the camping thing also. John |
