Or do guide if it rains................? Not sure. A cultural thing? .......... .... |
Seems to me perfectly valid to point out that anyone who finds it difficult to manage bad weather isn't likely to enjoy guiding at those times--particularly since they'll probably need to spend more time out in the wet, cold, heat, humidity, and/or high winds than any of their clients.
Beyond that, I doubt it will work well for any of us to start reacting with sarcasm to others who're trying to contribute. Mark |
Check out a 3 part series on Amazon Prime called Celtic Rider.
It’s a documentary about a family run motorcycle hire and tour guide business. It paints a very rosy picture but they’ve been at it for 18 years and their clientele are mostly Americans. Oh, it’ll cost you £1.90 - money well spent if only for the scenery. |
Something to consider:
I know 2 guides and 1 motorcycle accommodation business that each had a rider die whilst in their care (so to speak). Not only emotionally difficult but logistically too. |

been done - many years ago a couple of people tied their bikes together and rigged a sail, I think on the salt flats, and possibly the Atacama. Worked well they said. Somewhere I have a pic... |
