Where to start?
 

I live in Southwest Florida, not exactly beautiful motorcycling area.
I have a big road bike, Honda Goldwing, that I have put 35k miles on over the last 4 years. I have been up to Alaska and did the trans-Labrador Highway recently. Due to crushing work schedule, these have been rush trips. The bike is suited to long days of high speed highway travel, but the parts I enjoyed most were the remote parts. While I work on sweet talking the wife into a new toy, I am interested in learning to ride offroad. Any suggestions on where to start? Are there any offroad schools or courses to take? Anybody fairly local to me?
