what are my options to buy a a bike in peru?
 
hey everybody...
i land in lima in tow weeks and i wonna ask you guys whats are the options for me if i wonna buy tow bikes in there...
i talk about dealersships...
anyone have expirience over there? how is the price against other options?

Hi i gather you may have bought a bike there in Lima by now?


I,am about to do the same could you tell how you got on? and anything you found out that i need to know?How are your travels going there?

Contact Toby at adventure motorcycle tours in Peru and all South America - Home Straight up guy, with buy/sell back option. His business is located in Huancayo, a one hour flight from Lima. Title takes a week to get transferred, so you have to ride in Peru for that amount of time before crossing borders.

If it was the 80s I would recommend reading Matthew Paris' Inca Kola - a great account of travelling through Peru on two legs and two wheels. Still a good read a couple of decades on
