I've gotten in the habit of just holding my breath at stop lights. Usually they don't last for more than a minute. As far as cleaning my visor I find that Plexus works awesome. I've got about 20k miles on this helmet with the orginal visor and it still looks like new. I just use an old sock with a small spray bottle I keep the plexus in.

There was a tip on TV yesterday on how to stop windows misting up: slice potato in half and rub it on the glass. It reminded me of another tip, you can also do the same thing on the outside of your car windscreen if your wipers don't work, the water either collects into blobs which are immediately blown off the glass by the wind, or it just spreads evenly allowing clear(ish) vision through the glass. I did try that once, I think it did work, but can't remember exactly how. I can't check it just now, it's not raining. Strange. (November? Wales?)

Hi Felix
Many thanks for that. Am I right in thinking that an enduro helmet is open face, it sounds like it if you use goggles with it. To be honest I haven't considered open face, they must be a lot colder than the visor type, especially when it's freezing. Still, it is a solution to my bleat regarding both misting and freezing.
I hope you don't mind if I pass this on to the HUBB, as I'm sure other people will be interested.
Best wishes
John

Fog City is the only way to go. I am going on my third year with one installed in my Shoei. I am getting ready to replace it now, but as much because the visor needs it as the Fog City.
