Tubed tyres on tubeless rims?

Is there any problem with fitting a tubed tyre (and tube) onto a tubeless rim?

No problems!
I do it al the time!

The hole for the TL valve is bigger. A spacer exists which you install instead of the nut on the valve stem.

I suspect if you don't use it the tube won't come bulging out, either. ;-)

Just as I thought.

It is alot easier to plug a flat tubeless tire, than to break the bead and patch a tube then reseal the bead if you are using a tube in a tubeless rim...Especially on the side of the road somewhere.

Well Cameron is right, but:

-They don't make real offroad-tyres tubeless (TKC80 is not a real offroad-tyre)

-If you go off the beaten track you should carry a tube even if you go tubeless and there is no betterplace to store it then inside your tyre:-)

You get used to the bead-stuff http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb/smile.gif)
