This is Peter again. Russian bikers are the most incredible and helpfull people you can meet on the road! Park your bike on the mainsquare in any Russian city and within 5 minutes you have a couple of bikerfriends! Unfortunately they dont have the time or the money to travel a lot so for the best info you have to depent on European bikers who went there. Its possible to put an add in the Russian magasine MOTO if you like to get some addresses of bikers to visit.
In St. Petersburg there is FORT mc, they have accomodation as well ($27, not my cup of tea) site: www.biker.ru/fort
