*Russia* Mongolia* Kazakhstan*Dealer, or garage for repair the bikes
 

Hello friends,

at the 1. May we will start our trip with two motorbikes through russia, mongolia and kazakhstan.
We will pass the boarder in karelia and want to ride through russia to the lake Baikal. Then we will go south to mongolia and west to Kazakhstan.

Does anybody have tips for us about local dealers, how want to repair our bikes if we will get any problems with our Honda Transalps?
Or maybe for checkups......

Russia: (Karelia, St.Petersburg, Vologda, Kirov,Perm,Omsk....Baikal)
Mongolia: (Ulaanbaatar to the west boarder in the direction to Novosibirsk)
Kazakhstan: (Semey, Almaty in direction to Volgograd...Russia)

Exactly what I search for the trip!

The Garmin files are already at my garmin.

I would suggest you learn something about them yourself if you don't already have any mechanical experience. Ask your usual mechanic or a friend who is one to show you how to service it, remove and replace wheels, forks and swinging arm, also have a go at fitting tyres. Have them check over the electrics and give you some idea how to diagnose simple problems. If you do this use the tools you plan to take with you and it will check that you have everything you need.
