Recommeded overlanding book
 
A friend of mine is looking at traveling from the UK to NZ in 2003. I would like to get her a 4wd/Landrover version of the 'Adventure Motorcycling Handbook'. I have found this book extremely useful and inspiring, but it contains a lot of stuff that is not particularly relevant for someone in a Landrover. Any recommendations?

My third try, I hate this reply system. Try Land Rover published Vechile-dependent Expedition Guide by Tom Sheppard, ISBN 0-932324-0-9. Not quite the bargin as Chris' book and not trip ideas oriented, but lots of useful how too's. Afterwards use it as a doorstop as it is quite heavy! Allen.
