Pollution emission while entering different countries

Hi there,

I am planning to ride down from India - South East Asia - Australia - Middle East - Europe . The bike is a Royal Enfield 2002 model. The bike currently does not have a catalytic converter.

Would that be a problem in these continents while entering. If by altering(adding cat converter ) i achieve the pollution norms. Will that help sort the issue, incase if any OR should the bike be a EURO 3 bike to enter irrespective i meet the standards.

Would appreciate any insight on this...or if somebody can guide me to a site which has all the information of different countries.

I don't think local emission regulation apply to temporarily imported foreign registered vehicles, just that they are legal in country of origin and roadworthy so you should not have a problem.
