Pakistan Afghanistan border

Hi there
can someone tell me if it is possible to travel from pakistan to afghanistan by land.

Almost certainly not, I doubt that the Pakistan authorities would let you near the border in the first place and were you to get there I think the taliban would have something to say about it. If you want to visit Afghanistan it used to be possible to enter from Tajikistan and go to the Wakhan Valley but I am not sure if this is still the case.

Afghanitsan is not a country to enter casually. A lot of research, planning and preferably in-country contacts required.

A couple made it to the border a year or two ago, but the Pakistani authorities would not let them leave. I did it in 2009 and drove across Afghanistan.

You won't meet the Taliban at the border. The area around Jalalabad is not so safe these days.

Possible and done infrequently. But it's not safe to go further into Afghanistan
