Music venues on West Route
 

I'm planning a 3 month trip down the West Route going as far as Ghana or Niger and one of the things I'll be doing is checking out the local music en route. I've never seen any posts on the subject but I'm sure some of you will have found some great little venues on your travels.

I'm particularly interested in places in RIM and Senegal. I do know 'the scene'-excuse the hippy reference-in Bamako pretty well so that's of less interest but may well be for others.
