Long-term travel insurance?

Hi, does anyone out there have a good recommendation for travel insurance I can purchase for over a year? I'm Canadian and travelling for 2 years of a G650GS. It seems everywhere I've called, like World Nomad for ex, can only offer insurance for a max f 365 days. What do people do who travel for years at a time and don't return home to re-start a policy? I would need any suggestions before Nov. 20, 2015. Much thanks in advance! Heather

Try your local auto club

I can buy 1 year insurance from the Alberta Motor Association and then, as long as I retain my membership, simply buy another year when the first expires. I don't need to be in the country when I do this.

As I maintain a residence here I don't have a problem however I can't speak to what the outcome would be if I didn't have an Alberta license.

It's worth checking into.

Hi.

Might be worth checking out your canadien motor assoziations like Riq mentioned. in Germany we can buy a cheap insurance up to two years from our ADAC.

World nomads you just renew online towards the end of the first year

RipCord is the same. Year to year, reup towards the end of your first year. Pretty sure you can renew on line.
