I need photoes from Sahara
Travellers.
ATT. not valid longer then 2.3.2003 The local newspaper here in Reykjavik,Iceland, is going to write about the preperation of me trip to N-Africa. The report will be partly text and partly photos from N-Africa. I have some photoes of my own but would like to get some 2 more. If you have a good photo showing Saharan landscape and motorcycle and would like to have it published in Icelandic newpaper please contact me. Note. Please do not send the pictures to the address in the signature profile, use instead the same first word (geokobbi) but use @simnet.is in stead of @hotmail.com Thank you, Jakob ------------------ |
Take a look at the gallery on my site oasisphoto.com and see if you can pick something you like. No motorcycle pictures on the site but I can scan some for you. Is the newspaper going to pay for these pictures?

A.B., Thank you for your reply. The reporter has already chosen the photoes, but thanks anyway. By the way, great web you have. I saw some photes from limestone caves. What can you tell me about caves and speleology in Egypt? I'm caver myself and would like to see some cool Egyptian caves.
I have heard that Egyptan speleology is very primitive and is not considered as a sport like in Europe. Jakob ------------------ |
I can’t tell you much I’m afraid since as you said there’s not much activity in this field. This is probably due to the minimal number of caves discovered in the first place. Maybe there just aren’t many around. For sure there aren’t any of those long deep unexplored caves I see in the Discovery channel. There is a couple of very impressive stalactite and stalagmite caves but they’re just one huge chamber underground where you can’t get lost.
