I had a great time on my trusty old r-6! Logged 12k km one summer, although i was dragging my knuckles behind me like a gorilla for a week after the trip LOL! Put some handlebars on it and you'll be fine.

bars

althought the high motorcross bars would be a good idea in theory, you will most likely find that the cables, won't be long enough. even if they could be routed that far, there is a chance on full lock, of cables catching, pulling taught etc. A 600 fazer front end may be a good donor for parts, but it is not an easy fix.
