Make grubby earplugs a thing of the past. Treat your lugs to a pair of these:
Cost a couple of pounds, easy to clean and fit. Difficult to lose as they are attached to each other (like your mittens when you were a kid). I've been using these for years with no problems. Some come with a handy case. Check out health and safety departments in building /engineering stores. Hope this helps simon http://rswww.com/cgi-bin/bv/rswww/searchAction.do http://rswww.com/cgi-bin/bv/rswww/su...o?cacheID=ukie RS Stock no: 424-4490 Manufacturer: E.A.R Part no: TR-01-000RS [This message has been edited by notxxtz (edited 06 July 2005).] [This message has been edited by notxxtz (edited 06 July 2005).] |
The foam ones work great for me. I bought a box of 1000 for $19.00. I have them in every place I look. All the bikes, all the jackets, all the bags on my bikes, everyware. But don't lick-um. just spit on um a little bit after rolling them thin.

I use a brand called Earplanes. These are made of a clear rubber, not foam, and have a hollow tube with foam insert in center to relieve pressure.
They are easily washed (unlike foam) and therefore cleaner. One pair can last for years. I'd used foam and some specialized industrial types and Earplanes are definitely the best IMHO. http://www.cirrushealthcare.com/earplanes.htm Rather than putting earplugs in dirty pockets or some different place every time get a small leather zippered pouch on a key ring and fasten it to your tankbag. |
