Carnet de Passage
 

Hi Folks,
Just starting to think of big trip to Africa from UK...
However noticed that from Dec 2015, RAC no longer providing a Carnet service...
Where's best to apply for one now?
I'm new to this so, any advice would be helpful?

There is tons of info on Carnets, have you looked at Trip Paperwork? There is a sticky on it, also other threads, use the search bar. Its a lot better than starting another thread.

ADAC in Gerrmany?

From the end of this year the UK issuer will formally be out of the business so will no longer be necessary to get a letter of non-objection from them. ADAC seems to be top choice.
PS if you are going to spend a lot of time in Europe and surrounding countries (Morocco, Turkey) you might consider paying 90 euro for their Plus assistance package. In Morocco, one phone call got us a truck to come 150km, pick us up and take us 150km to a workshop - all for free.
