Buying a Motorbike in Ecuador | Selling in a different country ?

I’m new to this forum and really looking forward exchanging and reading great stories and advices from other overlanders :D

We’re currently planning a trip in latin America with my wife.
Starting mid Feb, in Quito in Ecuador, then heading to Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Northern Argentina, and back to Ecuador.
Total duration : 4 months

We’re looking forward buying 2 same or similar trail bikes in Quito.

- Has anyone managed to buy a motorbike in Ecuador, and sell it in a different country ?
It seems quite tricky to do so ; That´s why we’re planning a round trip back to Quito.
If there is a way, we would prefer to buy in Ecuador and sell them in the south of Chile in order to travel only one way.

- By any chance, is there someone interested in selling a couple of chilean motorbikes in Ecuador around mid febuary ?
Or would there be anyone interested in buying 2 trail type Ecuadorian motorbikes in the South of Chile in the end of May ?
