A question for American emergency proffessionals

Hey,

I have gathered so much great information from here in the past, so I thought I would try and solve my latest problem with the help of the HUBB.
:thumbup1:

I am a british citizen, and I would like to work as a handcrew firefighter in the states somewhere, maybe in Utah or California, but was hoping to find out the legalities and chances of doing such work....

I have my WFR but aim to do my EMT (basic) in the off season, probably Oct/Nov this year...
So my questions are does anyone have any knowledge of whether the hiring of non-US citizens is a possibility for these kinds of work, and if so what visa one would require?

Any other info, regarding working as an emergency personell but as a foreign citizen in the U.S.A would be great..
Many thanks
Mike
