Tajikistan to India on bike

My Dear all,
This is my first post here as I got registered today only. I am from India.
We are 3 friends with Royal Enfield TB 350, planning to go for Tajikistan to China via Pamir and then continuing over taklamakan, Mount kailash, Lhasa. And end up to Kolkata ( India) via Kathmandu.
We are planning to go by 2018 May.
I am much worried about riding through Chaina. It will be highly benificial to me if you please help in getting the following information.
1. The rough cost of the entire trip.
2. In chains hoiw to get the permit,
3. Either RE-TB350 is ok for the trip or not,
4. We have doine Khardungl Pass, Chang La Pass on 2015. How worst it compare too that trip.
5. Any specific difficulties for Indian citizen in China or Tajikistan...

Anxiously waiting for your feedback.

Regards
Tanmoy

As an Indian passport holders better forget about Pakistan.

As far as I have studies you can not cross the india-china border with motorcycle. Which again involves huge amount for agencies fee. Again possible Only through nepal. What ever nationality you are you need to get permit for tibet, military permit for mount kailash along with Chinese visa with alien permit. Riding your own vehicle involves huge formalities. Temporary number plates, Chinese driving licenses(you need to write exam), a guide (must), custom clearance from Chinese authorities etc etc. All these involves huge cost which crosses the amount of shipping your vehicle to Almaty or any other stan countries.

Alternative is to fly to Almaty ( which cost just one visa amount. If uzbek/tajik/kirg added extra visa cost) then buy a 2nd hand vehicle there and sell it after you have used it for some amount of loss. By this itinerary you could even drive to Europe or east of Russia.

If you guys are ok with huge cost then try Chinese travel agencies in katmandu. If you guys are cost conscious then buying used vehicle is an option.
