Off duty British soldier killed riding motorcycle in Kenya
 

I have just heard this on the BBC but not much detail given, apparently he was attacked while off duty a couple of days ago, the British army base is on the road between Moyale and Nairobi but no idea if this is where it happened, I was warned of banditry around here and further north on that road when there so take care if in the area.

It is up on their website now but no information about where or how it happened.

Thanks for posting. Always sad to hear about a fellow motorcyclist passing away. I will be in the region in a few months... I better be careful.
