Mexico/U.S. border protests rumored 5/1/06
 

I know this might be posted a little late, but May 1st is supposed to see general strikes at the borders, with threatend closings by protesters. I have personally heard that San Luis, Algodones, and Mexicali are supposed to see protesters, but I can't speak for the other crossings. (I am sure they will see the same things occur if the rumors prove true).

Oh, and it was 96* F (35* C ) in Yuma, with an even 100* F expected on 5/1. It's HOT season on the border, both figuratively and literally. Just be prepared and aware.
