Reading all the reports it sounds more like the attack was East of Zouerat just across the border from Western Sahara. |

Trouble in Mauritania
According to the link below the 11 soldiers and 1 civilian were found beheaded 30KMS from where they were abducted. They were found on September 19th at Aklet Tourine.
