Germany (and Eastwards) - Floodings...
 

Hi there!
Anyone planning to travel the Eastern parts of Germany and eastwards should have a look at the current reports about roads and locations.
Quite a big part of the Elbe area (Magdeburg, Wittenberg) is flooded or partly flooded right now.
The same is further easwards where the Elbe is coming from...
The flood is moving forward and the states Saxony-Anhalt, Brandenburg and Lower Saxony are affected.

There are desease warnings, millions of mosqitos, dead animals floating around, a terrible mixture of mud, chemicals, unfiltered toilet-water and so on.
The roads and train-lines will be affected and there won't be much of an infrastructure for a while - so if you can - just avoid the areas...
